I.F.E.T. College Of Engineering

I.F.E.T. College of Engineering is located in Gangarampalayam, right on the East Pondy Road. If you’ve ever traveled between Villupuram and Pondicherry, you’ve probably passed by our gate. The road is always busy with buses and trucks, so there’s a constant hum of traffic in the background. The campus is spread out with different buildings for each department. I’ve been on the staff here for a while now. It’s a very busy place. We have a lot of students coming in every day, some from quite far away. The mornings are usually a rush of people trying to get to their first class on time. We have regular classrooms with wooden benches and whiteboards. The labs are filled with all sorts of equipment for the different engineering branches we have here. It’s not a fancy place, just a collection of buildings where people work and study. We have a canteen that serves basic meals and snacks, which is where everyone goes during the break. The weather is usually quite warm, being so close to the coast. We just wear light clothes and keep the fans going. There isn't any big corporate vibe here. It’s just us, the students, and the daily schedule of lectures and practicals. We deal with the usual stuff like exam pressure and maintenance of the buildings. It’s just a normal engineering college on a busy road. We just try to get through the day.
