Ganesh Beads Works

If you come down to 17, Throwpathiamman Koil Street in Sanjeevi Nagar, you’ll find Ganesh Beads Works. It’s a bit of a mouthful, that street name. We have beads in almost every corner of the room. Small ones, big ones, different colors—they get everywhere. Sometimes you find them in your shoes at the end of the day. The work is mostly sitting and sorting or putting things together. It’s quiet work, but it keeps your hands busy. The street outside is usually busy with people going to the temple or just moving about their day. We’ve got some old wooden tables where we do most of the sorting. The lighting isn't the best in the back, but we make it work. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing team. People just know we are here in Sanjeevi Nagar. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to say hello. We keep the doors open most of the time to let the air in. It gets quite humid, but that’s just how it is. We focus on the beads and making sure the counts are right. It’s simple work, but it’s what we do. We’ve been at this spot for years and haven't thought much about moving. It feels like the right place for the kind of work we handle.
