Balaji Store

Balaji Store has been here at 69, L I C Colony for a while now. We keep things pretty simple. Most people in the Kakitha Pattrai area know where we are. It is just a regular shop where you get what you need for the house. We open up early, usually before the sun gets too high, because that’s when people start moving. There is always something to do, like checking the shelves or talking to a neighbor who stopped by for a quick item. We don’t have fancy displays or those bright lights you see in big cities. Just bags and boxes of stuff people use every day. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the small space but we manage somehow. If we don’t have something, we usually try to get it by the next time you come around. It is a family thing, mostly. My brother helps out when he can, and we just keep the place running. It’s not a big supermarket or anything like that. Just a corner spot. The address is easy to find if you are near the colony area. We try to keep the floors clean but with people coming in and out all day, it’s a job in itself. We don't really do much advertising. People just know we are here. It's just how things go for us. We keep the books manually mostly. It works for us.
