Balachandar Engineering Works

Balachandar Engineering Works is located at No 18, Sambasiva Nagar in Vembakkam. We’ve had our shop in this neighborhood for quite a while now. It’s a local place where we do various engineering tasks and repairs. We aren’t a big company with many branches; it’s just this one spot in Vembakkam. Our workshop has all the basic tools we need to get through the day. We handle a lot of different jobs, from small fixes to larger assembly work. It’s a bit cramped sometimes with all the parts and equipment, but we make it work. We don't have a fancy waiting area or any air conditioning. It’s just a real workshop where people work with their hands. Most of the people who come to us are from around Sambasiva Nagar. They know we are here and that we’ve been doing this for a long time. We don't use a lot of corporate language or try to sound bigger than we are. We are just local workers doing engineering jobs. Sometimes the work is hard and the days are long, but we’re used to it. We just focus on the benches at number 18 and try to finish what we started that morning. If we aren't at the machines, we are probably out back checking on materials. It's a steady life and we wouldn't have it any other way in this part of Vembakkam.
