You can find us at 10, Chennai Main Road in Vikravandi. Being on the main road means there is never a quiet moment. The trucks are always rumbling past and the dust from the road keeps us busy with the cleaning. We work out of this facility making beverages. It is a big space but it fills up fast when we have a lot of crates moving around. The heat in Vikravandi can get pretty intense, especially in the middle of the afternoon, so we have a few old fans that keep the air moving. We aren't a massive corporation with fancy suits. Most of us just wear what’s comfortable for moving boxes and checking the machines. We’ve had some leaks in the roof during the heavy monsoon rains, but we just put buckets down and keep going. The location is good because it’s easy for the drivers to pull in and out, even if the traffic is a nightmare sometimes. We have a small area where we take our breaks and talk about the local news. It’s a straightforward business. We bottle the drinks, pack them up, and get them on the road. There isn't much more to it than that. We just try to get the work done right so we can head home at the end of the day. It’s honest work and we’ve been doing it a while now.
