Agasthiyar Siddha & Ayurvedic Clinic

Our clinic is over at No. 3 Muthaiya Nagar in Thattanchavadi. It’s a fairly quiet neighborhood, which is nice for the kind of work we do here. When you walk in, you’ll usually notice the smell of herbs and oils because we deal with Siddha and Ayurvedic traditions. We have shelves filled with jars and bottles that we have to keep organized every day. The space isn't very large, but it works for us. We have a small desk where we sit to talk to people and write down their details in our books. The floor is tiled, and we try to keep it clean, though the herbal powders sometimes leave a little dust behind. Muthaiya Nagar is the kind of place where neighbors know each other, so we get people just popping in to say hello sometimes. We don't have any big flashy signs, just our name on the front. The fans stay on all day to keep the air moving through the rooms. We have a back area where we store most of our supplies, and it’s always a bit of a struggle to keep everything in its right place. It’s a very hands-on job, and we spend a lot of time preparing the things we need. It is a simple, honest way to spend the day, and we are happy to be part of this little community.
