Our place is located at No. 5/665 in Vikas Nagar. It isn't a very large building, but we manage to keep everything we need tucked inside. Being in a residential area like Vikas Nagar means we have to be careful with the noise when the delivery trucks come by early in the morning. We usually start the day by checking the list of what needs to go out to the different sites around town. It is mostly me and a couple of others handling the heavy lifting and the paperwork. We keep the supplies organized as much as we can, though things can get a bit messy during the rainy season when everyone is in a hurry. The shelves are filled with the usual stuff you’d expect for building work. We don't have a big showroom or anything like that. People usually just call us up or stop by the gate to see what is in stock. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes it hard for the bigger lorries to turn into our lane, so we spend a lot of time directing vehicles. It is a lot of physical work, and our hands are usually dusty by the end of the shift. We’ve lived in this area for a long time, so we know most of the people around here. It’s just a regular supply business where we try to keep things moving as smoothly as the day allows. There is always something that needs stacking or moving.
