Down in Raval Pally Village, which is part of the Marpally Mandal in the Vikarabad District, you’ll find Prem Janata Cotton Ginning Industry Limited. Our building is at #3-85. We are right in the middle of where the cotton grows, which makes sense for what we do. Cotton ginning is hard, dusty work, but it’s the lifeblood of this area. We take the raw cotton from the farmers and separate the seeds from the fibers. It’s a process that hasn’t changed all that much over the years, even if the machines have gotten a bit better. We aren't trying to be some high-tech firm from the city. We are a village industry, and we take pride in that. During the harvest season, the place is absolutely packed with carts and tractors. It gets loud and there is lint everywhere, but that’s just part of the job. We know the local farmers by name and they know where to find us. We don't have a fancy office or air conditioning in the main shed. We just work through the heat and get the cotton ready for the next stage. It is a practical business for practical people. We don't use any flowery language to describe it. It's just ginning cotton in Vikarabad, day in and day out. It’s what we know best and what we will keep doing.
