Subarao Spices

You can find Subarao Spices over in the Kaleswara Rao Market area of Tarapet. We are at 42-63 on Imampanja Street, which is right in the thick of the Main Bazar. It’s a crowded area, and things get pretty loud during the peak hours of the morning. We’ve been here for a while, and we’ve gotten used to the constant movement of people and carts. Our shop is mostly filled with spices of all kinds. We spend a lot of time weighing things out and bagging them up. It’s a hands-on business, and our hands are usually covered in some kind of spice dust by noon. We don’t have a website or a big marketing team. We just open the doors and get to work. People know us because we’ve been on this street for years. The market has its own rhythm, and we just follow along with it. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, but we manage. We aren't doing anything fancy; it’s just about buying and selling spices like people have done for centuries. The building is old and has a lot of stories, I’m sure. We’re just adding our own bit to it every day. If you’re ever in Tarapet and find yourself on Imampanja Street, you’ll see us there, probably busy with a customer or a new delivery. It’s just how we live.
