You can find us at Plot No. 87 in Jawahar Auto Nagar. It’s an area that is almost entirely dedicated to automotive work and engineering, so there’s always the sound of hammers or engines running nearby. We focus on rubber products, which means the smell of raw rubber is something we’ve all grown very used to over the years. Our facility is basically a large shed with different sections for molding and cutting. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit; most of us are in sturdy clothes that can handle some dirt. The work is physical and requires a lot of attention to detail because even a small mistake in a rubber seal can cause problems later. We’ve been at this specific plot for quite some time now. We know the neighbors, mostly other small engineering firms and part suppliers. Lunch usually happens together on a small wooden table we set up in the corner. We don’t have a flashy website or a dedicated salesperson. People usually just drive into Auto Nagar and stop by because they need a specific part made or replaced. It’s honest work, and we take it one batch at a time. The heat from the presses makes the place quite warm, especially in April, but that is just part of the job. We stay until the orders for the day are packed and ready for transport.
