Sri Venkateshwara Hard Ware Stores

If you find yourself in Governor Peta, you will probably see the Swarna Palace Theater. Sri Venkateshwara Hard Ware Stores is located right beside it. It is a very busy part of the city. There is always music or noise coming from the theater and people are constantly walking past our door. Our shop is quite packed with all sorts of items on the shelves. It goes all the way up to the ceiling. We have a long wooden counter that has been there for years. The wood is worn down in the spots where people lean on it. It is not a very big shop, so it can feel a bit crowded when more than two people are inside. We don't have any air conditioning, so we just leave the front door open and hope for a breeze. The floor is made of old tiles that are easy to sweep. We spend most of our time helping people find what they need for their homes or just talking. Governor Peta is a place where everyone seems to be in a hurry. We know a lot of the local residents who come in. It is just a plain hardware store with a simple sign outside. We open up early and we don't leave until the last movie at the theater is about to start. It is a lot of standing and moving things around but we are used to it.
