Sri Lalitha Engg

We've been here on Chenna Sattur Street for a long time now. The shop is at 12-6-5, and most folks around here know where that is. We do engineering work, mostly handling whatever comes through the door. It gets busy in the mornings when the street starts waking up. Sri Lalitha Engg isn't a fancy place with big signs or a lobby. It's just a workspace with tools and machines. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, but that's just how it goes with this kind of job. We spend most of our day focused on the metal and the orders. If you walk down the street, you'll see us. It’s a tight space, but we make it work. We've seen the neighborhood change over the years, but our spot stays pretty much the same. It's not always quiet, especially when the machines are running full tilt. We don't spend much time on the computer or writing things down like this, usually we're just busy with the actual work. It's a local shop, nothing more. We just try to get the jobs done right so people can go about their business. Most of our tools have been with us since we started. It feels like home after all these years. The street noise is constant. Sometimes people drop by just to ask directions because they get lost looking for the numbers. We just point them the right way and get back to the bench. That's about all there is to it.
