Site Engineer

I’m Suresh Kumar, and I run things from my father G. Krishna Murthy’s place here in Vijayawada. We are on Maseed Street, near the Raavi Chettu Center in V. D. Puram. It’s a familiar spot for most people in the locality. Being a site engineer around here means being involved in every little detail of a project. I don't sit in an air-conditioned room all day. Usually, I’m out at the Raavi Chettu Center or nearby sites making sure things are moving along. My address, D. No-1-1/7-18, is where I do the planning. It’s a simple house, not a fancy office. Sometimes the workers have questions, or the material delivery is late, and I have to sort it out. That’s just part of the daily grind. I’ve lived in Vijayawada a long time, so I know how the local conditions are. We don't do anything flashy. We just focus on the engineering part of the job. It is hard work, especially in the summers here when the sun is really strong. But seeing a building reach the roof level gives a good feeling. I keep things pretty straightforward. No big promises, just showing up and doing the work that’s needed. People know where to find me if they need something checked. I’m usually around the street or at a site nearby. It is just an honest way to make a living and help the community grow.
