Shri Viranya Rice Depot

You can find our rice depot at 11-42-40 in the Vantavam area of Vijayavada. We aren’t hard to spot because of all the sacks piled up near the entrance and the trucks parked outside. It’s a basic warehouse setup where we keep different varieties of rice ready for the local shops and traders. Vijayavada is a busy place for grain, and Vantavam is right in the thick of it. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just a big open space with a small desk in the corner for keeping the books. The roof is corrugated metal, so it gets pretty loud when it rains, but we don't really mind. We focus on getting the orders right and making sure the rice stays dry and clean until it's sold. Most of the time, it's just us and the laborers loading up the rickshaws and small trucks that come through. It’s a bit of a messy job, but it’s what we do. We’ve been at this same spot for quite a while, and the neighbors all know us by sight. We don't use any high-tech equipment, just some old scales and our own hands. It’s a lot of early mornings and long days, especially when a big shipment arrives from the mills. We just take things as they come and try to keep the business running smoothly in our own quiet way here in the Vantavam district. We work hard to get everything out on time.
