Sha Sagarmal Rikhabchand

Our place, Sha Sagarmal Rikhabchand, is situated at Door 11-40-24 on Pulipati Vari Street. It’s one of those narrow streets where everyone knows everyone else’s business, which has its own charm I suppose. We’ve been at this address for a long time, and the building has seen a lot of years go by. It’s not a modern glass structure, just a solid old place with a heavy door and thick walls. When you walk in, you’ll likely see stacks of ledgers and old wooden furniture that has been around since the beginning. It feels like home to us because we spend more time here than anywhere else. The street outside is always humming with the sound of cycles and people walking to the market. We don't really do much in terms of advertising because people in the neighborhood just know where we are. Usually, someone is sitting near the entrance ready to greet whoever walks in, though it’s rarely a stranger. The light in the afternoon comes through the front window in a certain way that makes the whole place look a bit soft. We keep things simple here, focusing on the daily chores and making sure the accounts are right at the end of the day. It is just a regular local business trying to keep things moving along on Pulipati Vari Street. Most of our neighbors have been here as long as we have, so it's a tight community.
