Sbn Sun Lamination

If you walk down Kottusubbarao Street in Krishnalanka, you’ll eventually run into us. Sbn Sun Lamination isn’t a place with big flashing neon signs or anything like that. It’s just a regular shop where we do a lot of lamination work. You can usually smell the plastic and the heat from the machines as soon as you step inside. It gets pretty warm in here, especially when we have several machines running at the same time to finish a big batch. Krishnalanka is a crowded area, and the street outside can get pretty narrow with all the scooters and people walking by. We’ve had all sorts of things come through the door, from simple documents to bigger items that need protection from the elements. My hands are usually busy feeding paper into the rollers or trimming the edges. It’s repetitive work, sure, but there’s a certain rhythm to it that I find okay. Sometimes people come in in a big hurry and we have to tell them to wait a bit because the machines need to warm up properly. You can’t rush the heat, or the finish comes out all wrong. We don't really have a big team, just a few of us making sure things don't get messy. It’s been our daily routine for a long time. We know the neighbors and the other shop owners around here, so it feels like a real community. Just a small business doing its thing on a busy street.
