If you ever find yourself on Alipuram Road in Nawab Pet, you might see us at Saptagiri Raw & Boiled Rice Mill. We are at Dr.No.8-12/44. It is a place that stays busy from sunrise until late. The mill is always humming with the sound of the equipment processing the raw and boiled rice. It’s a noisy place, and it can get pretty dusty with the husks, but that’s the nature of the business. We have a small staff of local workers who have been with us for a long time. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing department. Most of our time is spent on the floor, making sure the rice is handled correctly and the bags are ready for transport. The building itself has seen a lot of years, and it shows in some places, but it’s sturdy and does the job. We keep a small office near the front where we keep the books. It’s usually cluttered with samples and receipts. We don't try to sound important or use big business terms. We are just millers. Our focus is on the daily grind, literally. We work hard, we look after the machines, and we try to be fair with everyone who comes through our gates. It is a basic, practical life here in Nawab Pet, and we are quite satisfied with that.
