Working out of Srinivas Apartments in Labbipet has its own way of doing things. Being in Vijayawada, specifically in the 520010 area, means we see a lot of people who live right here in the building or just a street away. We aren't a shop on the main road with a huge sign that everyone sees from a distance. Instead, people usually find us through word of mouth or by asking the neighbors. The space is small but it works for what we do. We handle hair and basic beauty stuff without making a big fuss about it. My sister helps me out when things get a bit crowded, especially on Sunday mornings when everyone wants to look good for the week. We have a few chairs and some shelves where we keep the shampoos and creams we use. Sometimes the water pressure is a bit low, but we manage. It’s a very local vibe here. You might hear sounds from the other apartments, like someone cooking or kids playing in the hallway, but that is just life in Srinivas Apartments. We don’t have a big staff, so it’s usually just one or two of us working at a time. This keeps things quiet and personal for the ladies who come by. We just try to do a solid job and make sure people leave feeling okay. It’s a simple living for us.
