Rao Manoj Associates is based in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, right in the Sf A Aparajitha Apartments. It’s an interesting setup because working out of an apartment building feels more personal than a big commercial block. The weather in Vijayawada can get incredibly hot, so we always have the air conditioning running throughout the day. The office is basically just a few rooms converted into a workspace. We have bookshelves lined with reference materials and a long table where we spread out documents when we’re working on something big. It’s a very focused environment. We don’t really have a lot of fancy furniture; it’s more about what is functional. Most of the people who come to see us are locals from the area. We usually offer them some water or tea because of the heat outside. The sounds of the apartment complex—kids playing or people talking in the hallways—occasionally drift in, which makes it feel like a part of the community. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a sleek corporate look. We just want a quiet place to get the calculations and the filings done correctly. It’s a steady routine of meetings and desk work. We’ve been at this location for a good period now, and it suits the way we like to operate without any unnecessary fuss. The commute is easy and the space feels like a second home.
