Ramakrishna Nursing Home

Ramakrishna Nursing Home has been a fixture in Vijayawada for a long time. We are located in the 520001 area, not far from the main bustle of the city. It’s an old building, and you can tell by the way the floor tiles are worn down in the hallways. We don’t have those shiny marble lobbies like the new hospitals. Instead, we have wooden benches and walls that have been painted the same shade of light green for decades. The nurses have been here for years and they know almost everyone who comes in by name. It’s a busy place, especially in the mornings when the clinics are open. You can hear the sound of the ceiling fans clicking and the distant noise of the city traffic outside. We deal with all sorts of things, from minor fevers to people just needing a check-up. It’s not a high-tech facility, but we have what we need to take care of our neighbors. Sometimes the waiting room gets a bit crowded and people have to stand, but nobody seems to mind too much. We try to keep things moving as best as we can. My office is tucked away in a corner, filled with medical files and old ledgers. It feels like home to me. We just focus on helping the people who walk through our doors every day. It’s a lot of responsibility, but it’s what we do for the community.
