Power Mech

Our office for Power Mech is on Bada Saheb Street in the Wynchipet area of Vijayawada. The full address is Door Number 8-12-97 and 98. It is a busy little street and the office is part of a building associated with Akbar Ali’s family. In this part of Andhra Pradesh the sun is really strong for most of the year. We spend a lot of our time inside the office planning out the mechanical jobs. The street outside is narrow so you can’t really bring big trucks right to the door. We have to move things by hand or use small carts. The pin is 520001 or just Vijayawada-1. There is a lot of noise from the nearby market and the sound of people talking in Telugu all day long. We have a small bench outside where people sit while they wait to talk to us. Inside it is a bit cramped with all the shelves full of manuals and old equipment. We have been here for a long time and the building shows its age but it is sturdy. We don't go in for anything polished or corporate. It is just a place where we drink coffee and handle the business of the day. The staff is mostly local people who know the city well. We just keep our heads down and deal with whatever repairs or projects come our way. It is a basic setup but it has everything we need to function.
