People from all over the area come to see us because we cover a lot of different medical needs under one roof. It isn't always easy keeping a big place like this going, but we manage. The staff here are mostly locals, so we know the people who walk through our doors. We see families who have been coming to us for years. The building itself is set up to handle quite a bit, but we try to keep it feeling a bit more personal than those giant, cold hospitals you see in movies. There’s always coffee somewhere if you look for it, and the waiting areas are usually full of people chatting or just waiting for their turn. Vijayawada can get pretty hot, so we make sure the air conditioning is actually working, which everyone seems to appreciate. We deal with everything from routine check-ups to more serious surgeries. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we don’t think about it like that every single minute; we just get on with the tasks at hand.
