Madeena Rice Traders

Madeena Rice Traders is located in Tenali, specifically near Itha Nagar. We deal with rice day in and day out. It is a simple business where we buy and sell different varieties of rice. Our place is not big, just enough room for the stacks of sacks and a small area to sit. Tenali is a good place for this kind of work because of all the farms around here. We have been in this spot near Itha Nagar for a good many years. People from the neighborhood come by to get what they need for their homes. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the grains and moving bags around. It is heavy work and our clothes usually have a bit of rice dust on them by the end of the day. We do not have any big corporate goals; we just want to sell rice and make enough to keep going. The weather affects us a lot, especially the humidity. We have to be careful how we store everything so it stays fresh. It is a quiet life for the most part, just following the rhythm of the harvest seasons.
