Our office is based in Vijayawada, specifically in the Srinivasa Nagar Bank Colony. We operate out of Deepthi Bhavan. It’s a nice enough area, mostly residential with some offices scattered around the streets. We handle the EPC side of things here, which means a lot of technical drawings and project management stuff. The office has a very lived-in feel to it. There’s usually a stack of blueprints on someone’s desk and the sound of a printer going in the background. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything, just some chairs for people to wait if they come by for a meeting. Vijayawada gets really humid, so the air conditioning is always running in the afternoons. We like being in Bank Colony because it’s a bit quieter than the main commercial hubs of the city. It makes it easier to concentrate on the engineering details we have to deal with every day. The staff here is a mix of older engineers and some younger guys learning the ropes. We just go about our business day by day. We don't really do much in the way of public relations; we just focus on the contracts we have. It’s a steady pace of work. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is coming up, but that is just part of the job. Most of us have been in Vijayawada for years and we like the local food around here during our lunch breaks.
