Kumari (Radiology)

Our radiology center is located at Plot No 403 in the Suryarao Pet area of Vijayawada. We have been here for several years, providing X-rays and other types of scans for the local community. The place is built to hold the heavy machinery we use for imaging. It’s usually a bit cooler inside because the machines need a certain temperature to work right. We have a small waiting area with some chairs, and there’s usually a stack of old magazines on the table. People come here with referrals from their doctors. We take the images, process them, and then provide the films or reports. It’s a straightforward process. The staff is trained to handle the equipment and make sure the patients are positioned correctly. Sometimes there is a wait if the machines are busy, but we try to keep things moving. Suryarao Pet is a busy neighborhood, so there is always a lot of noise from the street outside, but it’s quiet once you get into the scanning rooms. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy office. It’s just a practical medical facility. We focus on getting clear images so the doctors can see what’s going on. Most of our days are spent in the darkrooms or at the computer screens looking at the scans. It’s a necessary service for the 520002 area, and we are glad to be part of the local health network.
