Up on the first floor of Sri Sai Tavanesh Towers, you will find our Jawed Habib salon and academy. We are located right on Eluru Road in Governerpet, which is one of the busiest streets in Vijayawada. Being near Ramamandiram Street means there is always a lot of movement outside. We have the salon where people come for their hair, but we also run the academy part here. It gets a bit loud with students learning and the blow dryers going all at once. The towers are quite easy to spot when you are coming down Eluru Road. We have plenty of mirrors and those big salon chairs that people use. It’s not just about cutting hair; we also spend a lot of time teaching the younger ones how to handle the scissors and different styles. Vijayawada weather is usually very hot, so the air conditioning here is a relief for everyone who walks in. We keep the floor swept because hair gets everywhere with so many people around. It’s a busy life in Governerpet, and our days are full of people wanting a new look or students practicing on mannequins.
