If you are looking for us, we are right on Parkasan Road. Isha Retina Foundation Eye Hospital is not one of those massive, cold institutions you see in the big cities. We are a bit smaller and we really just focus on eyes here. People come in because their vision is not what it used to be. It is a lot of testing and checking every day. We spend most of our time in darkened rooms looking at charts and various screens. Parkasan Road can get a little noisy outside with the traffic, but inside we try to keep it calm so people can focus on their exams. The staff here has been together for a long time. We know each other's habits and exactly how the machines work. Sometimes the equipment is a bit finicky, but we always manage to get it sorted out. Being an eye hospital means we see people of all different ages. Grandparents come in for their regular checkups, and sometimes we see younger folks who have spent way too much time looking at their phones. We do not do big speeches about what we do or how we do it. We just look at eyes and try to figure out what is going on. It is practical work. Most of us live around this area, so we see our patients at the market sometimes. It makes the work feel a bit more personal when you know the faces.
