Our shop, Gowtham Agencies, is at 9-120 on MG Road in Manor. It’s a small town vibe here, and we like it that way. We act as a sort of middleman for a lot of different goods. One day we might be dealing with hardware, and the next it could be something totally different. We have a lot of storage space in the back which helps us keep things in stock. MG Road can get a bit noisy with the bikes and trucks passing through, but we’re used to it. We aren't some big city agency with suits and ties. It’s usually just us in work clothes moving boxes around or checking the ledger. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time, and people in Manor know they can come to us when they need to source something specific. We don't have a fancy showroom. It’s mostly just shelves and a counter where we talk to folks. We keep things pretty informal. If someone needs a price, we look it up in the book. Sometimes we’re a bit slow when the phone is ringing off the hook, but we get to everyone eventually. It’s just a regular local business trying to make things work on MG Road. We don't do anything too complicated, just buying and selling what’s needed in the area. It keeps us busy and we know most of our regular customers by name. We just take it day by day.
