Our spot is down in Khajipalem, over in the Guntur area of Andhra Pradesh. If you know this part of the country, you know it gets incredibly hot during the summer months. We mostly work out of a space connected to Prasad’s place. It isn’t some high-rise building or a modern office park. Instead, it is a practical, ground-level setup that lets us stay close to what’s happening in the local area. The days here usually start with a bit of a breeze if we are lucky, but by noon, everyone is looking for some shade. We handle all our daily coordination and paperwork right here. There’s a lot of coming and going throughout the week, with people dropping by to check on progress or just to say hello. The local roads are busy with people moving goods and heading to the nearby towns. We try to keep things organized, even if our filing system looks a bit cluttered to an outsider. It’s just how we operate. We don’t use any fancy management software or anything like that; we just talk to each other and make sure the jobs get finished. Sometimes we have to deal with the local rains which can slow everything down, but we just adjust. It’s a very hands-on environment, and we wouldn't really have it any other way in a place like Guntur. To be honest, it is just about getting the day's work done before the sun goes down.
