Eurokant Minerals is over at 2-896-45 in Ramavarappadu. It’s a bit of an out-of-the-way spot, but it works well for what we do with minerals. Since we deal with natural materials, things can get a little bit messy around the office. We try to keep the dust down, but it’s a losing battle most days. We have a few desks and some filing cabinets that have definitely seen better days. It’s a private limited company on paper, but if you walked in, you’d just see a few regular folks working hard. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and looking at samples. The sun can get really hot in Ramavarappadu, so we usually have the fans going at full speed all afternoon. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or a coffee machine that does anything special. We just use a basic kettle and bring our lunch from home. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for when the trucks come in to load or unload. We’ve been doing this for a while and we know the mineral business inside out, but we don't feel the need to brag about it. We just provide what's needed and go home at the end of the day like everyone else. It’s practical work and we’re happy to be doing it here in this neighborhood.
