Education Matters

This place is out in Gollapudi, near the Sri Geetha Dall Mill. If you are coming down Mahendra Nagar, it is fairly easy to spot once you get close to the mill. Education Matters is based right here at door number 19-69. It’s an interesting spot because you can often hear the machinery from the mill when the wind blows the right way. The building is a bit older, belonging to D O K Hari Nadha Sarma, and it has a very lived-in feel to it. We aren't tucked away in some corporate park. We are right in the middle of where things actually happen. The office itself is functional. We have some fans that stay on all day because it gets quite warm in this part of Vijayawada. There’s a lot of coming and going. People from the neighborhood often stop by just to ask questions. We keep a few registers on the main table to keep track of everything. It’s not the quietest office you’ll ever find, but we like the energy of the area. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so we spend a lot of time dusting off the desks. It’s a practical setup for what we need. We’ve been here long enough that most of the locals know who we are. We don't change much, just keep doing the same things every day without much fuss.
