Uma Events

We are based on Tikkle Road, which is a pretty lively street to be on. Our place is directly across from Temptations Ice Cream Parlor, so we always see people heading over there for a treat. We are also opposite Bombay Jewellery on the DV Manor Road side. Our office is not what you would call organized. It’s usually full of rolls of fabric, sample boards, and half-finished decorations from the last event we worked on. It’s a bit of a jumble, but we know where we’ve put everything. We aren't a big agency with people in suits. We are just a small group of us who spend a lot of time on our feet. Most days involve a lot of driving around to check on different locations and then coming back here to sort out the logistics. The smell of the ice cream from across the street is always there, especially in the afternoons. We have been at this address for several years and we know most of the other shopkeepers around here. It feels like a little community. Our office doesn't have a fancy display or anything like that. It’s more of a workspace where we get our hands dirty. Sometimes the roof leaks a tiny bit when it rains really hard, so we have to move our equipment away from the front window. It’s just how things are for us.
