Our spot on Yv Rao Street is tucked right behind the Cha House. It’s usually busy around here with people grabbing tea, and we often have our own cups sitting on the workbench while we sort through solar bits. Working with solar means a lot of time spent out in the sun or up on metal roofs that get incredibly hot by midday. We carry around heavy batteries and aluminum frames, so there’s always a bit of sweat involved. The office is small and filled with wires and mounting brackets that never seem to stay in the right bin. We don’t have fancy furniture, just some sturdy tables and a couple of chairs that have seen better days. It gets loud when the traffic picks up outside, but we mostly just focus on getting the panels angled right. Sometimes we’re out late finishing a setup because the weather didn't cooperate in the morning. We’ve got a couple of old ladders that we trust more than the new ones. It’s mostly just us doing the same routines day after day, checking connections and making sure everything is bolted down tight. The floor is concrete and stays cool, which is nice in the afternoon. Most people find us just by asking at the tea shop if they don't see the sign. It’s a simple setup we’ve got here, and we like that it stays local and straightforward without too much fuss.
