Chegu Suryanarayana Vittal

I've been working here at Chegu Suryanarayana Vittal for a while now. The office is right in Vijayawada H O, so it’s usually pretty busy outside. You can hear the traffic and the constant horns all day, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of the ceiling fan spinning. Our address is 520001, which is right in the heart of things. Usually, I start the day by cleaning off the desks because the dust from the street gets everywhere no matter how much we sweep. It’s a simple place with a few chairs for people to sit while they wait their turn. We don’t have any fancy decorations or big bright signs, just the name on the door so people know they are in the right place. Some days are slower than others, I guess. In the afternoons, when the sun is really hitting the front window, it gets quite warm in the corner. We usually take a short break for tea around four. Most of the people who come by are locals from the neighborhood. They know the building well. It’s not hard to find if you know where the main post office is located. We keep our records in these old metal cabinets that have been here since the start. Sometimes the drawers stick a bit when you pull them. My desk is right by the entrance so I see everyone coming in. It is just a regular workplace where we get through the daily tasks. We like the routine.
