Better Castings

Better Castings is located in the Jrd Tata Industrial Estate in Kanuru. We have been working out of this spot for a long time now. The estate is a busy place with all sorts of manufacturing going on, so there is always a lot of movement. Casting metal is a basic kind of trade, and we keep things pretty simple at our shop. We don't have a big marketing budget or a shiny showroom for people to visit. It’s just a workspace where we get things done. The building is functional, and that’s about it. We have the furnaces and the molds set up in a way that works for us, even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider. Most of our days are spent dealing with the heat and making sure the pours are consistent. It’s not the kind of job you do if you want to stay clean, but it’s steady work. We know most of the other business owners in Kanuru, and we all just try to get by. Sometimes the supply of materials is a bit slow, or a machine needs a new part, and we just handle it as it happens. We don’t have a fancy website or a big board of directors. It is just a few of us making sure the castings are done right. We take things one day at a time and try to keep the business going in a sensible way.
