Better Castings

Better Castings is located in the Jrd Tata Industrial Estate in Kanuru. Specifically, we’re at Dr. No. 193/3 and 192/8. It’s a big industrial area, so there’s always the sound of machinery and trucks moving around. Being in Autonagar means we are surrounded by other businesses doing similar industrial work. Our place is basically a big workshop where we handle different kinds of casting jobs. It gets hot in there, especially in the afternoons, but that’s the nature of the business. We don't have a polished office; it's mostly just the production floor and a small desk where we keep the paperwork. We’ve been at this for a long time. The estate is busy and sometimes it’s hard to find parking, but we like being in the middle of all the activity. We don't use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just take the metal, do the casting, and send it off. It’s a messy job sometimes, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. We know most of the guys in the neighboring units. We help each other out when someone needs a tool or a hand with something heavy. It's a real community of workers here in Kanuru. We just keep our heads down, focus on the moulds, and make sure the castings are solid before they leave the shop. It's nothing fancy, just hard work and heat.
