Veduka Events

Running things at Veduka Events in Ayodhya Nagar keeps us moving from early morning until late at night. The office isn't very big, mostly filled with boxes of decorations, rolls of fabric, and lists of things we need to pick up for the next setup. Ayodhya Nagar is a busy place, so there is always noise coming in from the street while we are trying to coordinate schedules. We spend a lot of time on the phone or just walking over to meet people nearby. It gets a bit hectic when two things are happening at once, and the floor usually has some bits of ribbon or tape stuck to it. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us making sure chairs are where they belong and the lights actually turn on. Sometimes a delivery truck gets stuck in the narrow lane, and we have to go out and help them navigate. The work involves a lot of lifting and carrying heavy stuff, which is tiring but that is just how it goes in this business. We keep a pot of tea going in the back room to stay awake during the long stretches. It is not always glamorous work, despite what people think about events. Most of the time it is just us cleaning up after everyone else has gone home and making sure everything is packed away for the next day.
