Arun Ice Cream

You can find Arun Ice Cream over on Karasa Road in the Nad area. The address is 97-3-46. It’s a small shop right on the side of the road. We get a lot of people passing by on their way home from work. It’s nothing special to look at, just a regular storefront with our freezers lined up. We stay open pretty late because that's when most people want something sweet. The fridge hums all day long, and we’re constantly checking the temperature. We have the usual sticks and cones that the kids like. Sometimes the delivery truck is late because of the traffic on the main road, and we have to explain that to the customers. It’s just me and one other guy working here most of the time. We keep a couple of chairs outside but most people just eat their ice cream while they walk. We try to keep the place tidy, but with the dust from the road, it’s a constant battle. We don’t do any big promotions or fancy signs. People just know we are here and they come in when they’re hot. It’s a simple business. We know the people who live in the houses behind the shop and they stop by to chat. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for the sound of the cars and bikes going by on the road.
