Anish Organics

Anish Organics is over at 68-4-57 in Chitti Nagar, Ampuram. It’s a quieter part of town compared to the main centers, which suits us just fine. We handle organic products, so a lot of our time is spent talking to people about where the items come from and what’s in them. It’s not like a regular grocery store where everything is in shiny plastic. We have a lot of stuff in jars and simple brown bags. The shop is small and has a bit of an earthy smell because of all the natural oils and dried herbs. We spend our mornings checking the stock and cleaning the shelves. Since it’s a small operation, we do everything ourselves, from unloading the deliveries to sweeping the floor at night. Some people come in with lots of questions about natural living, and we try our best to share what we know from our own experience. It’s not always a fast-paced environment, and that’s okay with us. We have a wooden table where we sit and do the paperwork. The walls are painted a simple white, though they could probably use a fresh coat soon. We’ve made many friends in Chitti Nagar since we opened up. It feels more like a community spot than a retail business. We just try to keep things simple and honest for everyone who walks through the door.
