Abhi Clinic

If you are around the Labbipet area in Vijayawada, you might have seen Abhi Clinic. We are located at 37-4-20 on Nehru Street. It is quite close to the Sikhamani Center, which is a spot most locals know well. The clinic is not very large. It consists of a waiting area and a small room where the checkups happen. We spend our days seeing people from the neighborhood who have various health complaints. Some have a fever, others have some pain they can't explain. We use a stethoscope and a pressure cuff, the usual tools you find in any small clinic. Nehru Street can get quite crowded with two-wheelers and people walking to the center. We open the doors early in the morning and stay until the last person has been seen in the evening. There is no corporate office or fancy reception desk here. It is just a desk with a lamp and a lot of paper pads for writing prescriptions. We try to keep the place cool with a ceiling fan, but Vijayawada summers are tough. People come in, sit on the plastic chairs, and wait for their turn. We know many of the patients by their first names because they have been coming to this part of Labbipet for years. It is a straightforward place where we just do our jobs and help the folks who live nearby.
