Sukhdev Kare (India) Private Limited is based out in Dodi, which is part of the Vijayapur Taluk. We are at Sy No. 154, Door No-55 in the Aliyabad Goradan area. It is a bit of a distance from the main city center, so things are a little slower and quieter out here. We have been working from this location for some time now and we have gotten used to the pace. Our day usually starts with checking the inventory and seeing what arrived from the city suppliers. It is a lot of manual labor and keeping track of our files and papers. Being in the Bijapur district, we deal with a lot of local folks from the surrounding villages who come by. We don't have any corporate polish or big fancy offices to show off. It is just a practical workspace where we get our daily tasks done. Sometimes the electricity goes out in the afternoons, and we just have to wait it out, which is just part of living in this area. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in India. We just want to do our work well and keep the business going for the long term. We focus on the basics of our trade. Most of the people working here are from around Dodi or Aliyabad so we know each other well. We don't do any promotional stuff. It is a quiet but steady existence for us.
