Siddisai Super Bazar

Our store is located in Bijapur on Athani Road, right near the Al Amin Medical Hospital. Being so close to the hospital means we see a lot of different people every day. Some are just stopping in for a quick bottle of water or some snacks while they wait for their family members. We keep Siddisai Super Bazar open for long hours. You never know when someone might need something. The aisles are a bit narrow because we try to fit as much as we can on the shelves. We have everything from rice and cooking oil to cleaning supplies. It gets pretty busy in the evenings. That is when people are heading home from work and realize they forgot something for dinner. The fans hum all day to keep the place cool. It still gets warm when the shop is full of people. We have a couple of guys who help with stocking the shelves and carrying heavy bags to people's cars or bikes outside. The floor is just plain tile. We have to mop it a lot because of all the feet coming in from the dusty road outside. It’s not a fancy supermarket like you see in the big cities. It has what the local neighborhood needs for their kitchens. We just focus on keeping the stock full and being here when the doors open in the morning. It is a steady way to spend the day.
