Samruddi Clinic

We are situated on Old Dubey Road in the Chappara Band area of Bijapur, right in the heart of town. It’s quite close to the main road and the station area, so there is always a lot of movement outside our door. The clinic is a small, functional space that we’ve put together to help the local people with their daily health needs. It’s not a fancy medical center with glass walls; it’s just a regular building with some chairs in the waiting area and a private room for consultations. Because we’re so close to the station and the main road, a lot of dust comes in from the street, so we’re always sweeping the floors to keep the place looking decent. We see all kinds of people from across Bijapur and even from the smaller villages who come into the city for work. We have a simple desk where we keep the registers and a small cabinet for the basic medicines we keep on hand. It can get quite loud with the traffic and the trains nearby, but we’ve gotten used to the noise over the years. Most of our patients are regulars who know us by name, and we usually spend a few minutes just catching up on how their families are doing before getting down to business. It’s a very straightforward, local operation. We don’t use any big marketing tricks; we just open the doors every morning and do what we can for the folks who walk in today.
