Rani Satima Mineral

We are located at 6-241 on Masabinal Road, which is out in Basavana Bagewadi. If you know the area, it’s where things get a bit dusty because of all the mineral work happening nearby. Our day starts early before the sun gets too hot, though it usually catches up with us by noon. We deal with minerals here, which means a lot of heavy lifting and trucks coming in and out. The yard is usually full of piles of material that need to be sorted or moved. We don’t have any fancy air conditioning in the main work area, just big fans that mostly move the warm air around. My desk is covered in papers and receipts from the different transporters we use. Basavana Bagewadi is a quiet town otherwise, but this road stays busy. We have a few guys who have worked here since we opened the gates. We eat our lunch together under the shade of the big tree near the entrance because it’s the coolest spot we have. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit around and wait for the generator to kick in so we can get back to work. It’s honest work, even if we all go home with dust on our clothes every evening. We don't really have a big sign out front, just the address and the name on the wall. It’s a simple setup for a simple business.
