Paramananda Rural Development Foundation

Our place is called Paramananda Rural Development Foundation and you can find us at Plot 273 over in Sindagi. We are pretty close to the Sidalingeswar Temple in Haranal, which is a good landmark if you are looking for us for the first time. The area is mostly rural and that is exactly where we do most of our work. There are a few of us here who handle the daily stuff that comes up. We spend a lot of time talking to folks from the nearby villages about their needs and what we can do to help out with development projects. The office itself is not much to look at, just a practical space where we keep our files and meet up in the mornings before heading out. Sometimes the roads get a bit muddy when it rains, so it takes us a while to get around. We are not a big corporate group, just local people trying to make some small changes happen in the countryside. Usually, you will find someone here from nine until about five, unless we are all out in the field. We have some old desks and a water cooler that makes a lot of noise. It is just a regular spot in a regular part of town. We try to keep things simple and focus on what needs doing right in front of us. Most of the people who come by are just neighbors or workers who want to chat.
