We are situated in the Trajari Colony Nandi area, which is right off Athani Road in Bijapur. The office is care of S C Biradar. If you are familiar with the colony, you will find us easily enough. Bijapur can get quite hot, so we usually have the fans going full speed in the office. It’s a modest setup at the colony address. We manage the Nidhi fund from here, which involves a lot of record-keeping and meeting with the local residents who are part of it. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who handle the daily transactions and the paperwork. Most of our members are people from the nearby houses and the colony itself. It’s a very grounded atmosphere. We sit at our desks, handle the cash and receipts, and make sure everything is entered into the books correctly. There’s no corporate gloss here. It’s just a plain room where we do our business. People stop by to chat as much as they do to handle their fund business. Athani Road is always busy, but our little corner in Trajari Colony is a bit more relaxed. We have been doing this for a while and we know the routine inside out. It’s just about being there for the members and keeping the fund going year after year without any fuss. We take our time to make sure every entry is right and every member is heard when they come in to see us.
