Kumar Steel & Cement

Kumar Steel & Cement is located at 5-4512 in Sindgi Town, right near the Vevakanandha Circel. If you’re around the circle, you’ve probably seen our place. It’s a busy spot with trucks coming in and out to drop off loads of steel rods and heavy cement bags. Because of the materials we handle, the place is always covered in a bit of grey dust, and there’s the sound of metal clanging around. We don’t have a fancy office; it’s more like a small cabin where we sit to write out the bills and keep track of the inventory. It’s practical and tough work. We are usually dressed in work clothes because sitting in a suit wouldn't make any sense here. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the middle of the day, so we take our breaks when we can in the shade. We’ve been part of the Sindgi Town landscape for a while now. People know they can find us here by the circle. We don't do much in the way of marketing. People who drive by or builders from the town are the ones we usually see stopping in. We just focus on keeping enough stock so we don't run out when a project starts up nearby. It’s a noisy, dusty, hard way to spend the day, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We just keep moving the heavy stuff until the day is over.
