Krishna Enterprises

Our head office is tucked away in the APMC Yard over in Gulabbagh. It is a very busy place, especially in the early mornings when the trucks are coming in from the fields. You can hear the sounds of engines and men calling out to each other from way down the road. Krishna Enterprises has been operating from this yard for a good while. The office itself is quite plain and simple. We have some chairs that have seen better days and a couple of fans that hum all day long to keep the air moving. We spend most of our time on the phone or talking to people who walk in with questions. The air smells like grain and earth because of all the agriculture stuff happening around us. It is not the cleanest place in the world, but it is where the work gets done. My nephew helps me with the paperwork, though he prefers being outside in the yard more than sitting at a desk. We deal with a lot of different people, from farmers to transporters. It gets quite chaotic during the harvest season. We barely have time to sit and eat our lunch then. But when things slow down, we sit outside on the wooden bench and watch the world go by. Gulabbagh is a tough place to work if you do not like dust and noise. For us, it is just where we belong. We keep things straightforward for everyone.
