Dhanashree Stone & Sanetary

Dhanashree Stone & Sanetary is located right in the village and post area of Indi, which is part of the Bijapur district. We have a bit of an interesting mix here because we do not just do stone; we also handle sanitary items like pipes and toilets and things for the house. It makes the yard look a bit crowded sometimes, with slabs of rock on one side and stacks of ceramic on the other. Being in a place like Indi means we see a lot of the same faces over and over. People come in from the surrounding farms and smaller villages when they are building something new or fixing up an old bathroom. We are not salesmen, we just show people what we have and let them decide. The sun gets really hot here in Bijapur, so we spend a lot of time under the shade of our porch when we are not loading trucks. It is a simple business run by people who live right here in the community. We do not have a big marketing plan or anything. We just try to keep enough stock on hand so that when someone makes the trip out to see us, we actually have what they need. It is a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around by hand, but it is what we have always done. We like being a part of the daily life here in the village and seeing things get built.
