Hanamshetti Tyres

Hanamshetti Tyres is our shop over in Kurla West. We’re located in the Bijapurkar area, right near the local post office. If you’ve ever walked around here, you know it’s a busy spot with lots of vehicles and people moving around. Our place is usually smelling of rubber because of all the new and old tyres we have stacked up. We spend most of our time out on the pavement or just inside the shutter, working on wheels. It’s dirty work and our hands are usually black with grease by lunchtime. We don't have a fancy waiting room with air conditioning. People usually just stand around and chat while we change a tyre or fix a puncture. We see everything from small scooters to bigger cars. Sometimes the sun is really beating down on the street, and other times we’re dealing with the rain and the mud Kurla is known for. We just keep our tools ready and handle whatever comes into the shop. Being near the post office means there’s always a bit of a crowd, which keeps things interesting. We’ve been here long enough that most of the local drivers know us by name. It’s a simple business without any frills. We focus on the wheels and making sure the bolts are tight before anyone drives off. It’s a long day from morning to night, but we’re used to the rhythm of the street.
